NEW! HALF-DAY One to One Refresher Sessions
Half Day (4 hours) one-to-one photography sessions in The Lake District are also available. This is an ideal refresher session for all photgraphers, whether that be before a big trip or for someone who has already mastered the basics of working in aperture priority and just wants to learn new landscape photgraphy techniques. Most week-day dates are available, so just book the 'Half-Day Suggested Date' and we will agree a mutually convenient futuer date. Cost £150

The price is for tuition only and does not include lunch.
The rate shown for Landscape Experience Days in the Lake District include the Tutor's travel expenses.
A second person is welcome to accompany the student free of charge.
Dates for One-to-One courses must be agreed within 6 months of the booking date, although the booked date may be later.

' 'One to One Workshop - Autumn in the Lake District: Join Andy for the day to experience and capture the vibrant colour and beauty of the Lake District inautumn. Autumn is recognised everywhere as a special time of year to capture the landscape in all its glory. The Lake District is no exception. The fells and woodlands are transformed into a tapestry awash with reds, yellows and browns of every hue. It is the season to capture sparkling reflections in the lakes and swirling mist clinging to the lakeside forests. This course offers the opportunity to discover this spectacle under the expert guidance and tuition of an experienced and dedicated landscape photographer. We will explore how to use neutral density filters to generate mirror-like reflections, polarising filters to enhance colour and tips on composition, which will bring your ideas to life. Locations on the agenda include Tarn Hows and Tom Heights with grand views towards the Langdale Pikes and the magnificent woodland of Manesty Park at the southern tip of Derwent Water. Locations are negotiable if you have particular preferences.The session will be limited to just one photographer with an extra guest coming for free, and will involve some walking. It will be an early start to make the most of morning light and any potential mist. If you prefer this on a one-to-one basis, this can be arranged.DSLRs, tripods and ND filters are available for loan, but these are limited, so if you have your own, please bring them along.
