One Day Photography Workshops at National Trust Footprint, Windermere

Join us on one of our one-day photography workshops to learn how to use your camera to take better photographs.  Scroll down for the full workshop listing below.   The National Trust Footprint Buildling is a truly inspirational space...

This straw bale building was constructed in 2006 and now provides an educational base for people to reconnect with nature and explore the great outdoors in the peaceful St Catherine’s Wood through our programme of activities and workshops. It’s the first building in Cumbria to be constructed with straw bale walls, and the first of its kind built anywhere by the National Trust. It's a truly inspirational space. Just walking distance from Windermere, the meadows, woodland and grazed parkland around St Catherine’s Estate are all teeming with wildlife and wild flowers making it the perfect place to get away from it all - and providing the perfect environment for many Going Digital photography workshops.

Apart from our very popular beginners Explore Your Camera days, we also run a variety of one day photography workshops from this venue. These include Introduction to Landscapes, Water and its Moods, our popular close-up and macro photography workshop, photographic composition and portrait photography.

We also offer one-to-one bespoke photography days and other training at other locations in the Lake District.
