Newcastle Bridges at Night

Photographing the Bridges of Newcastle at Night

Join us for a walk around Newcastle Quayside to photograph the bridges in all their splendour at night.  Learn how to set your camera for stunning photographs of the bridges and car light trails.  You will be pleasantly surprised with the lights and colours that will dominate your photographs. Full instructions on settings and composition given throughout the walk.

We start our walk 15 minutes before sunset and head to photograph the bridges in a line.  We then head up river towards the High Level Bridge stopping on-route to capture the Millennium Bridge.  Up on the High Level bridge we have a bit of fun with long exposure to get the light trails of passing vehicles before heading down the Baltic Centre for a different view of the bridges again.

Cameras: DSLR, Mirrorless Compact System, Four-Thirds, Bridge, Superzoom, Compact.  A tripod is essential for this workshop.

This photo-walk is around 1 mile in length and involves a large number of steps and some steep slopes.
