Enjoy our small group photography courses and workshops at the impressive Hylands House stately home and country park near Chelmsford, Essex and the A414.

Hylands House is a beautifully restored grade II listed building, surrounded by some 574 acres of historic landscaped parkland, partly designed by Humphry Repton.

The attractive estate grounds are extensive and varied, encompassing areas of recreational ancient woodland, grassland, lakes and duck ponds. There are also more formal flower garden displays to enjoy filled with topiary, a wisteria-draped pergola, sundial and interesting sculptures and secret gateways to enjoy in the pleasure garden and One World garden, making photography courses at Hylands a wonderfully varied photographic experience and a day out to enjoy.

Get off auto or refresher training in a 3 hour private 121 session at Hylands House & Estate or a nearby venue of your choice. We will tailor a day to your requirements taking you through all the things you need to know about using your camera (DSLR, Compact System, or Bridge camera), to create the perfect image. Entrance fees and lunch not included. This session can be extended to 6 hours for 2 people for an additional supplement of £50. Please email us for details.
